Gallery Space

Picture
When you walk into a gallery, what do you see?  Maybe a triptych of paintings.  Maybe a video screen installation. Maybe a live performer writing on the wall. Whatever you see, you SEE.  We come to gallery spaces to look.  To perceive.  Perhaps to learn.  Ultimately to judge.  The creators of Gallery Space, dancers, Francesca Jandasek and Stephanie Yezek, collaborate with actor, Dan Istrate to play with/in/among the ideals of themselves as real people, archetypes and characters from fairy stories to examine the question, What do you see when you look at me?
